Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo believes that his club and country team mate Angel di Maria will be on Real Madrid star Ronaldo's and Barcelona star Messi level in his second season.
"He'll show he's worth £60m next season", said Marcos Rojo.
Rojo and Di Maria are preparing for saturdays Copa America final against Chile. Reports say that opinions rises in their home country that Di Maria's talents are being ruined since his move to Old Trafford.
Di Maria had a struggling start at Manchester United in his first season after a £59.7 million move from Real Madrid last summer. In the recent weeks reports suggested that Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich were among the clubs eager to sign him ahead of the new season.
Rojo still rates the 27 year old high and also he compares his talents with those of the world's greatest football players, whom he says as being level with his colleague.
Rojo said, "People forget Di Maria last season was adapting to a new league. They just saw a big transfer fee, and maybe didn't think about England being very different from Spain – it's a lot more physical."
"He's one of the best in the world and on his day can do things like Messi and Ronaldo, that's the level he's on. From the first training session he took we could tell he was a winner", added the United defender.
