I'am the best...!!!

Cristiano Ronaldo is again in controversies by making a revelation that could for sure anger a section of Lionel Messi’s fans. The best footballer on the planet was a topic for an endless debate for a very long time, but now Ronaldo believes he has an opinion about it.

Ronaldo told in an interview with Italian magazine Undici that he considers himself to be best amongst all footballers in the world for the last 20 years.

The 31-year-old winger said, “Where would I rate myself amongst the top players of the planet in the last twenty years? Thinking positively, then I believe with what I’ve achieved, I’m the best of the lot.”

“I have worked hard to get to the highest level and will continue doing it to stay where I am, I maintain the same attitude and dedication in every single training session and in matches,” said the three time World Player of the Year, Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is also proud at the rate at which he scores for his club and his country by saying, “I don’t doubt that I'll go down in footballing. Whether people like it or not, the numbers speak for themselves."
However, his comments calls for another serious question whether the Real Madrid talisman is better than the legendary Ronaldinho, Zinedine Zidane and Thierry Henry, who once ruled the world of football in the past decade. Ronaldo was still a young boy at that time, trying to establish himself at Old Trafford after switching from Sporting Lisbon to the Premier League giants.
Records also proves his statements and he can be excused. Just weeks before the Portugal skipper helped his club Real Madrid win their 11th Champions League title. On the other hand, he has won the Ballon d’Or six times, same as legendary footballers such as the late Johan Cruyff, Marco van Basten and Michel Platini. Also Lionel Messi, his greatest rival in modern football, has won four Ballon d’Ors, hence making CR7’s claims quite questionable and is a subject to further debates.
The superstar is now aiming for more glory in Eurocup '16. Nowhe is in France preparing for Portugal's opening match against Iceland on June 14.
