It's a happy news to all Ronaldo fans that their superhero once again opened up his humanity and kind heart to donate some of his winnings from the Champions League to the Christian charity World Vision.
We all know that the 31 year old forward was the star of his club, Real Madrid, throughout the Champions League this season. Ronaldo earned a win bonus of €600,000 (almost £500,000) after he scored the penalty to make a 5-3 victory for his team in the final against Atletico Madrid.
Recent reports say that he has donated all of the money to good causes with World Vision among the benefactors.
Other charities receiving this money include the Unicef and Save the Children.
World Vision spokesperson said, "Our faith in Jesus is central to who we are, and we follow His example in working alongside the poor and oppressed."
"We serve every child in need that we possibly can, of any faith, or none. We partner with churches throughout the world, equipping them to meet the needs of their communities," added World Vision spokesperson.
However the charity organisations didn't reveal the exact data on how much of the cash was given to them.
For the 31 year star, it's not the opener in charity. Ronaldo is well known for donating large sums of money and don't forget that he was named the world's most charitable sportsperson last year.
