Real Madrid : Kings of Europe...!!!

Cristiano's Real Madrid were crowned kings of Europe for an 11th time with a win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday. CR7 added the finishing touches to Real's 5-3 penalties victory, after a 1-1 draw.
It was captain Sergio Ramos to open the goal just after 15 minutes at a packed San Siro.
The match was pushed into extra time when Belgian Yannick Carrasco came off the bench to make it a tie on 79 minutes. But after two scoreless periods of extra time, the match went to penalties.
Madrid is securing the trophy for the second time in three years leaving Atletico dejected with the crumbs again after an sad defeat.
Real was the inaugural winners of the competition in 1956. They claimed their 10th title in Lisbon two years ago.
Atletico Madrid's coach Diego Simeone had pledged that his 2 time Europa League winning team would end their wait this time to finally win Europe's premier competition.
But the powerful Real proved to be a great threat from the 6th minute onward with Bale's free-kick, but goalkeeper Jan Oblak produced a great point-blank save. It was just an early warning. Just minutes passed by, when Toni Kroos's well-struck delivery was back-headed by Bale and Ramos gave a slight touch for the opening goal for Real.
It took Atletico Madrid some time to recover and the worse part is that Atletico were giving possession away which were nicely utilized by the Real players.
The match was turned exciting when Belgian Carrasco went past the Real's defence and secured Atletico's opener, making the game a tie. With the scoreless extra times the match moved to penality shootout.
Real had the advantage when defender Juanfran’s effort blasted off the bottom of Keylor Navas’s upright. It was Ronaldo's turn tofinish the match with a perfect shot, securing the trophy for the club.
