FIFA World Player of the Year, Cristiano Ronaldo completely
denies the reports which says he is unhappy and seeking a move away from his
club,Real Madrid.
Real Madrid failed to bag any major trophies or
championships, even when Ronaldo scored 61 goals in all competitions, the most
in a single campaign in his career.
And this almost led to the firing of manager Carlo Ancelotti,
who had the support of Ronaldo. Adding to this, the hiring of Rafa Benitez
brought an impression that th star player of the club, Ronaldo, no longer had a
good relationship with club president Florentino Perez.
But, Ronaldo broke months of silence only to deny the
rumours spreading against him and his club. Ronaldo, had rarely spoken to
reporters since a Champions League defeat in the months of March.
The Portuguese leading sports newspaper ‘A Bola’ quoted Cristiano
saying, "I would sincerely like the
false reports to stop and to be left a little in peace."
"Reports that I have sought to create conflicts between
myself and Real Madrid are absolutely false. I am very happy at the best club
in the world and very focused and confident of a new season full of successes,"
said cristiano.
